Shoreline IT

Shoreline IT wasn't created from a traditional business plan; it was born out of genuine demand.
Formerly known as Sherrin Consultancy where we have spent years delivering successful consultancy projects, from small-scale improvements to full digital transformations. As we grew our clients increasingly asked, “Can you fix this or can you just take care of that for us?”, we realised it was time to evolve.

That’s why we rebranded as Shoreline IT, expanding our services to become a fully-fledged Managed Service Provider (MSP), while continuing to offer the same trusted consultancy expertise.

Today, Shoreline IT delivers the same personal, honest and hands-on support that defined our consultancy work only now with a broader, more powerful toolkit.

We believe great technology support should feel like an extension of your team; reliable, secure, efficient, responsive and always acting in your best interest. We also truly believe that user experience is a key measure of success and value.

Based in the UK, we specialise in Digital Transformation & Managed IT Support for small to mid-sized businesses, helping them stay secure, productive and ahead of the curve.

With years of industry experience and having been customers of many MSPs ourselves we bring a fresh, empathetic approach.

Matt Sherrin

Founder & Managing Director.

Matt is an experienced CTO & IT Director who started his IT journey at the age of 15, providing training services to the NHS. Through the years Matt has developed a wealth of knowledge and experience in senior IT roles and numerous sectors.

Away from the office, Matt is a family man and father of 3. Keen on mental and physical fitness, dog walks on the beach, regular trips to the gym and cooking for family and friend (often with a glass of wine) are key. Passionate about rugby, supporting Leicester Tigers and England, he is happy to admit that his playing days are definitely behind him!

Darren Walmsley

Director & Senior Consultant.

Darren’s career spans multiple industries and sectors, underpinned by a strong growth mindset that has enabled his continuous progression across diverse roles. He has successfully delivered complex transformation initiatives and managed end-to-end project lifecycles, evolving from traditional IT Support & Application Management to roles including Business Analyst, Project Manager, SCRUM Master and Product Owner.

Outside of work, Darren is a family man and proud father of one. A passionate sports enthusiast, he has a particular love for football and boxing. His weekends are often spent watching his son play football, followed by supporting his local non-league team, Wimborne Town. When time and weather allow, he also enjoys squeezing in a game of tennis or golf.

Karolina Hutyra

Associate Partner.

Experienced IT Project Manager & Agile Leader delivering large-scale system implementations, data migrations and digital transformations across public and private sectors. Karolina specialises in process design, system analysis and bridging the gap between technical solutions and business objectives.

Karolina has worked with institutions such as the European Commission, financial regulators and the NHS. As an Agile Coach and Scrum Leader, she excels in leading cross-functional teams and is proficient in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies. A PMI member, she is currently pursuing her PMP certification.

Away from the office, Karolina enjoys strength training, running and crafting handmade, artisanal pastries.

Roly Reid

Associate Partner.

Specialising in executive coaching, change management and leadership development.

Roly, formerly played professional rugby for 14 years, with international honours representing Scotland, draws from first-hand experience and knowledge of elite performance mindsets and in-depth understanding of behaviour, combined with business acumen and performance psychology to support those he works with to be their best more often. Since his transition from professional sport in 2010 Roly has worked with executives and their teams across various industries and sectors.
